  I was with CAA Auto Insurance and have been for a number of years. Recently it was bought out by a company called MY Insurance Brokers. I had some damage happen to my vehicle in a parking lot so I called them to see if it was worth going through insurance or doing it on my own. That is where the nightmare began. After speaking to a girl there whom was less then professional to say the least I was informed 1) Because I have had a claim insurance would go up if I put this through ok I get that, 2) Because I had damage to car unless I fixed before policy came up they would remove my collision coverage, 3) I needed to provide date as to when to fix my car pictures of damage and after when fixed and proof I paid for it. My policy is due in April so already that gave me unwanted expense that because I was hones now had to be looked after ASAP or lose my collision coverage. So I take car get estimates and set up apt to repair then I get my policy in mail with my collision removed and it's not due yet! I called and again got told get those issues dealt with and they would which it back otherwise this is what is going to happen. I explained I had apt and this would be done. Again totally unprofessional in the way they dealt with me they were about the insurance company not trying to help me the customer. Today I fixed my car sent in all the pictures invoices etc... spoke with a man today who was actually professional explain how angry I am and he said a supervisor should have called me well they didn't nor did this broker even try to accommodate me in any way but did TELL ME HOW IT WAS GOING TO BE! OR THE HIGHWAY! No wait I can't if I don't do what they say don't have insurance to drive. Here is a new flash for you "MY INSURANCE BROKER" once my policy is over after this year I will do everything in my power to make sure you are "MY EX INSURANCE BROKER"! Your company was not professional they did not work on my behalf nor did they even try to find a solution that could work for the both of us. I am not saying other insurance companies are any better but there may be some out there who treat you with respect and professionalism. By saying Mr. or Sir doesn't make it professional it's in your tone too and how you present yourself that counts. Trust me for most people SORRY is just a word it counts for crap if it isn't followed by action! To this day I still haven't heard from one Manager there even though they know I am upset and have been with CAA better part of 15 yrs. IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE MY INSURANCE BROKERS HAMILTON I HOPE IT GOES MUCH BETTER FOR YOU BUT I RECOMMEND YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE I KNOW I WILL. I ONLY GAVE 1 STAR BECAUSE I THINK I HAVE TO MY TURE CHOICE IS 0 OUT 5.

  Spent over 30 mins on the phone with a broker for a quote on hold most of the time and then was hung up on. No one called back even though they had my phone number and when I called back I was told that I had to start all over again because they couldn't get my last broker on the phone, so was asked to start all over again. Complete waste of time, they may say they care about you and how you're experience was but all I was given was a half assed sorry and a goodbye.
