  I spent about 5 minutes debating between two kinds of laundry detergent and figured (based on the sale price) that my first choice was the best deal. The product scanned at the wrong price and when I pointed this out to the cashier she argued with me about the price and refused to go and check the product even when I asked her to. She suggested I probably had the prices wrong. I insisted I knew very well what the prices were listed as because I had spent far too long trying to determine the best deal just a moment ago. Eventually she called up an attendant to "go and check". The attendant claimed she went to look up the price and said I was wrong about the price. But here's the thing: the cashier lane I was standing in was the same aisle that contained the product, and the aisle had been empty the entire time I was standing there waiting to hear about the price, so I'm not sure how she "went and checked the price", unless she was somehow invisible. I asked the cashier to just go down the aisle and check the price with me. She refused. So, they don't actually program their registers with the correct price, and after you catch them ripping you off they will fight you about the price and lie about the prices they have listed. Never going back to this or any other Fortino's again.

  I am unsure of how to rate a supermarket. I give it 3 stars for price and selection. There is the occasional good sale. I think the best part is the bakery. All staff is nice and never a long line up for a cash.
